Façade of a multi-storey brick building with rows of rectangular windows and ornamental stonework detail.
Description

Golden-honey brick Victorian or Edwardian building photographed in strong midday sunlight, its warm terracotta and orange tones rendered rich and saturated. Three storeys of regularly spaced dark-framed windows punctuate the masonry, with a horizontal band of decorative stone moulding running between floors. Arched window surrounds on the lower level add classical detail. Deep shadows cast by the sun create dramatic contrast, rendering the lower portion almost silhouetted, whilst the upper storeys glow with golden warmth. The composition is symmetrical and frontally framed, emphasising the rhythm and geometry of industrial-age urban architecture.
